Scott Alan Cabaret at the Hippodrome Casino as a guest singer with Scott Alan & Danny Hatchard. TEACHING/DIRECTING Nina opened Academy Performing Arts Theatre School in 2007. Nina has worked as a choreographer/director over the past 20 years having directed many shows including: The Wizard of Oz (Bermuda 2017), Annie (Bermuda 2018) The Wizard of Oz (Dubai 2012) Fame, Jesus Christ Superstar, Copacabana, Disney's Aladdin, Summer Holiday, The Wiz, High School Musical, Captain Louie, Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Back 2 Broadway, Got to Shine (1,2 & Remix), Guys and Dolls, Dreamgirls, and The Wizard Of Oz which was performed at both The Richmond Theatre and Theatre Royal, Windsor. Nina has also taught & lead musical theatre workshops at many of the UK’s top performing Arts colleges and schools. Nina also directed/ choreographed/produced & performed in APA's 2022 Pantomime 'ALADDIN' as 'Genie of the Lamp' & 2024 panto "ALICE IN PANTOLAND' as 'The Queen of Hearts' written by her husband Michael Jones (co-written/adapted by Nina also)

CIARA HUDSON

TRAINING - Arts Educational Schools, Chiswick & The London School of Musical Theatre, Elephant & Castle PROFESSIONAL CREDITS: Made in Dagenham 10th Anniversary Concert, The London Palladium OTHER THEATRE CREDITS: Spirit of the Ring (Aladdin), Absolem-The Caterpillar (Alice in Pantoland) Morticia (The Addams Family) CREDITS IN TRAINING: Virtue/Dance Captain (Anything Goes), Martha (Children’s Hour), Nosy Frau/Ensemble (Princess Phyllida’s Fortnight), Luisa Contini (Nine), Helen (Orphans), Luciana (The Comedy of Errors) TEACHING Ciara joined Academy Performing Arts Theatre School when it first opened in 2007 and trained there for 10 years. In that time, she played the roles of Cinderella in Into The Woods, Janet Van De Graaff in The Drowsy Chaperone and Sandy in Grease. Ciara then became a staff member and has been teaching the Academy Kids classes and the main Theatre School Students for 7 years now.

JED EASTLAND

TRAINING: Performers College, Essex CREDITS IN TRAINING: Willy Wonka (Charlie & The Chocolate Factory), Reesey (Our House), Galileo (We Will Rock You), Miss Trunchball (Matilda), Troy Bolton & Ryan (High School Musical), Abanazar (Aladdin) Jed also had the opportunity to perform on the Main Stage at this year's Move It, performing with the 3rd Years in a piece from Sweeney Todd. He most recently played 'The Mad Hatter' in 'Alice in Pantoland'

MICHAEL JONES
Vice Principal / Drama Teacher / Senco
TRAINING - LIPA (Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts) PROFESSIONAL CREDITS: Blood Brothers cover Mickey (West End & National Tour), Our House ( Emmo), Brighton Rock (Almeida Theatre- Cover Pinkie) Marilyn the Muiscal - (Greenwich Theatre) CAREER - Mike worked as a professional actor until 2008 when a diagnosis of a chronic condition forced him to leave acting. He then began a career working with SEN kids in schools and then in specialised additional provision schools. ZINC ARTS: Mike is now the Head of Zinc Education at Zinc Arts where his two passions, performing arts and working in the SEN sector, combine. Mike dipped his toe's back into performing to play 'Widow Twankey' in APA's 2022 Pantomime Aladdin and wrote and performed as The White Rabbit in our 2024 panto 'Alice in Pantomime' Mike is also the Author of the Novel 'Tales from the Other Place'

ALEX CRANDON
Drama Teacher
TRAINING -East 15 Acting School, Loughton PROFESSIONAL CREDITS THEATRE: Deldini (Cinderella) Alex has also worked in Disneyland Paris as a Parade/Show Performer. Alex most recently appeared in Dick Whittington as Percy Rat at The Corn Exchange Newbury. FILM: Love Is Thicker Than Water (2016), Love Without Walls (2021) CREDITS IN TRAINING: Jake (Consent), Prospero (The Tempest), Gaev (The Cherry Orchard) TEACHING Alex became a teacher in 2019 focusing primarily on teaching the children Drama. Before this, Alex joined as student in 2012 for our production of The Wiz where he famously stole the show as The Gatekeeper. During his time as a student he also played many other roles including Vince Fontaine (Grease), The Wizard of Oz (Wicked), The Baker (Into The Woods) & Man in Chair (The Drowsy Chaperone).

PROFESSIONAL CREDITS: Gypsy (West End, Savoy Theatre), Pantaloon in The Pantomime Life of Joseph Grimaldi, Orginal Cast (Kenneth Moore), Tinker Bell in Peter Pan - Pantomime (Tour), Dance Captain/Ensemble-Cinderella - Pantomime, Judas in Godspell & Ensemble in Spring Awakening (All at the Kenneth Moore Theatre) CONCERTS: Vocalist- Magic of the Musicals (Royal Albert Hall), Vocalist-Stars of the Future (Hackney Empire), Vocalist- Becoming A Leading Lady (Phoenix Arts Club), Vocalist-Dear Jo Hawes (The Actor’s Church) FILM: Taylor in ‘I Should Like So Much To Play’, Choir in ‘Love Without Walls’, Featured Dancer in ‘Stop The Show’, Alice Through The Looking Glass (Disney) TV: It’s My Friday (Disney Channel), Tesco Christmas (Commercial) TEACHING Billy trained at Academy Performing Arts Theatre School for 8 years. Whilst she was a student she played Sharpay (High School Musical), Meat (We Will Rock You) and The Baker’s Wife (Into the Woods), she also performed with Academy Performing Arts at the London Palladium for the Jack Petchey Glee Club Challenge finals. Billy became an APA teacher at the beginning of the year, prior to this she worked in the USA where she choreographed a production of Shrek Jr. Billy most recently played 'Alice' in APA's production of 'Alice in Pantoland.'
